My cousin's old garden in London was full of very happy day lilies, enjoying the on 9 degrees higher average temperature in the city. I thought they wouldn't grow in my exposed Welsh garden, but some of them love it! This is "American Revolution"
I bought this primula so many years ago, I've forgotten its name. I love it growing in the rocks by the pond. The rocks, by the way, occur naturally in the garden. I'm quite fussy about yellow. I love golden yellows, but dislike mustard or acidic sulphur yellow and am not always keen on lemon.
Geranium Magnificum
Lychnis Coronaria The Rose Campion
Campanula poscharskyana, described by the RHS AZ Encyclopaedia of Garden Plants as a vigorous perennial, spreading by underground runners. At the moment it has grown over more than half my quite large rockery, killing and maiming other plants along the way.
